A Tradition Of Safety In Private Flying

February 24th, 2010

Business planes by their specific nature are versatile, plush, and a great joy to fly, nonetheless the actual quantity of people and enterprises selecting to fly privately has significantly increased largely because they believe flying privately to be somewhat safer than flying commercial.

Instead of splashing out on a business aircraft, numerous enterprises are looking at fractional ownership as it gives you use of a big assortment of aircraft thus letting individuals who require to charter a business jet to receive all of the value of owning a private jet, without being worried about the repairs or staffing expenses associated.

To further boost the safety of these private aircrafts, many companies are only permitting their pilots to fly one specific make of aeroplane. Find private jets for sale and more information on flying privately from leading companies online.

These large fleets of aeroplanes each of which vary in size, range and speed and all have a completely different cockpit arrangement and flight performance. As with any piece of equipment that you may well have operated before, you will definitely know that it takes a lengthy amount of time to get familiar with the instruments and design, and by only allowing each pilot to fly one particular make of jet, you will never have to be alarmed about the pilot being in an unknown cabin.

This is why when chartering a business plane; you ought to select a business that only allows their pilot to work one specific brand of aeroplane, as this will guarantee that they are 100% familiar with their aeroplane and controls, giving you the greatest safety levels possible.

By specialising on one particular kind of aircraft, whether it is a Hawker 440XP or the bigger Gulfstream G550, you are secure in the fact that your pilot is suitably trained for every situation and eventuality, and will therefore respond as quick as physically possible, guaranteeing the best possible safety for you, and your friends.

Add this with a meticulous maintenance crew looking after the aircraft range, and a tradition of on-going tutoring and learning by the pilots, you can be certain that flying privately is without a doubt the safest mode of transport around today.

The Best Protein Powder

January 11th, 2010

What is the best protein powder to buy? I get this question all the time,
and really, there is no best protein – many are very good for different
reasons! In my opinion, it is futile and possibly detrimental to stick to only one brand for the following reasons:

a) I always recommend that you cycle your supplements so that your body does not get used to them thereby decreasing their effect,

b) for variety sakes alone, it breaks the
monotony and allows you to try different brands,

c) to take advantage of
the unique qualities offered by various brands, and

d) it is a good idea to switch the powders you use on a frequent basis to not develop any food intolerances or even worse allergies (I have an article coming out on this subject in the near future.) A blend that combines various protein sources (i.e. casein, egg, whey, and even beef if you can find it) is your best bet. I highly recommend the following: MD+ Myosin Protein Complex, Beverly International Muscle Provider, Biotest Low-Carb GROW!, and Dorian Yates Approved ProPeptide.

High-quality whey protein powders are excellent choices for post-
workout nutrition since they get into your system fast to feed those
depleted muscles. Casein, on the other hand, is a slow releasing protein
as it recurdles into a solid in your gut prolonging digestion – this would be an ideal choice prior to your workouts or before going to bed.
Anyhow, as far as whey powders are concerned, amino acid complex
profile determines quality. I have in my possession a list of protein
powders that were analyzed for quality by an independent laboratory,
but since I don’t want any of these companies breathing down my neck, I
will only divulge that information to my clients. Remember one thing, you
get what you pay for! Keep that in mind. Also, some people are quite
sensitive to aspartame and lactose so you will have to find free versions
of those. Taste will ultimately determine whether you purchase that
powder again. Write in with some of your feedback on these products –
I’d love to hear your comments.

One more thing, you could even mix protein powder into other foods to
up the protein content and improve the flavor. Mixing protein powder in
(slow-cooked) oatmeal is one option, but here’s another. I call it my
“bedtime concoction.” Add a scoop of Xtreme Formulations Ultra Peptide
(vanilla) to a mixture of ricotta (whey) and cottage (casein) cheese. Not
only does this provide both an anabolic and anticatabolic effect during
sleep, it also tastes amazing – it’s like eating the cream filling of a cannoli without the pastry shell! Try it.

Getting Leads

January 6th, 2010

How many leads do you pass on?

As a reminder, you must give a lot before you can expect any leads from the group. You must be able to define your best customer, give your pitch and describe what you do best. On top of this you must gain credibility. Then how do you know how many leads to expect? If you have done your homework, you will have a good idea about the expectations of each member in the group. If the group does an average of 1 lead per person in the group per week, then you have hit a high note. The biggest problem with getting a lead is the fact that you do not know whether that lead is actually qualified to buy your product or service.

Once you are an older member, you can expect to get more leads and better leads. You should make sure that the leads you do get are ones where you get an introduction. Without the introduction, the lead may as well be a cold call. Sometimes people bring in leads that have a potential but it has not been stated that they are looking for a particular product or service. You want to make sure that you do not get anything but a qualified lead. In order to make sure the leads are qualified, you need to let the group know exactly what you are looking for and how you can obtain that business. If you have helped the group help you, then you can expect to receive at least 3 or 4 good leads a month.

Christmas 2005: Bargains Galore!

January 6th, 2010

If you are one of the many millions of Americans who will be shopping this holiday season for gifts for loved ones, friends, and business associates, you are in the driver’s seat when it comes to finding the best prices. Several events this past year have merchants scrambling to set prices low enough so that you will shop and shop big. Let’s take a look at how these events are shaping the retailing landscape and how you can make it all work to your advantage.

High Oil Prices – Hurricanes Katrina and Rita pushed already high fuel prices to record levels. Although off of their peak levels, prices are still too high for many consumers who feel pinched and are likely to cut back on spending. Factor in Hurricane Wilma and this will be a tough year for many.

Rising Mortgage Rates – Incremental increases in mortgage rates means that mortgage bills are going up, taking away from money that could be used elsewhere. Home sales remain steady, so companies like Home Depot are likely to benefit, while department stores will be scrambling.

Credit Card Changes – Our nation’s new bankruptcy laws coupled with credit card companies requiring higher minimum payments will certainly put the squeeze on for some. Not necessarily a bad thing to require higher payments, but the timing couldn’t be worse.

Online retailers have a great opportunity to capitalize on consumer’s reticence. With lower overheads, free shipping, and access to a large pool of inventory, look for online shopping to jump up again this year.

For “brick and mortar” retailers, expect that the motto, “If you cut prices sharply, they will come,” to hold true. Stagnant inventories cost money to maintain; moved merchandise means money that can be applied to the bottom line.

Look for aggressive sales and even price wars this holiday season as merchants redouble their efforts to reel you in. They have to; for some their very survival depends on your patronage.

Shop wisely!

Female Hair Loss Treatment And Information

January 5th, 2010

Did you know that female hair loss is part of the lives of more than 25 million women in the United States alone? Most of them are not using any female hair loss treatment and only few are aware of the existing hair loss treatments. In almost all the cases Female hair loss could be avoided, stopped and new hair growth could be stimulated.

Female pattern hair loss is similar to what is known as the “male pattern hair loss” for men. It is caused by an increasing amount of a chemical called DHT which usually occurs in the menopause age. As opposed to men, women usually suffer from thinning hair around the forehead and crown of their scalp, and not a complete baldness.

There are several available treatments for female hair loss of this kind:

Natural female hair loss treatment – There are several natural products that showed good results in stopping female hair loss like Advecia and Revivogen. These products are made up of hair growth vitamins, herbs and minerals and have no side effects.

Female hair loss products – The most popular hair loss product for women is Rogaine. Rogaine is the only FDA approved female hair loss treatment. Its’ main component is called Minoxidil which is a DHT inhibitor.

Other less common female hair loss treatments like wigs, hair thickeners and hair transplants are not recommended.

Another kind of female hair loss is a temporary hair loss. This kind could be a result of metabolic problems during pregnancy, a severe stress condition, chemotherapy, high fever or infections. The treatment in these cases would be stopping the medical problems as soon as possible. This would also result the hair regrowth.

If you do not suffer from female hair loss we congratulate you and advice you to use regularly a shampoo, a conditioner and moisturize and to maintain a healthy diet. If you start losing your hair do not ignore it. You can stop your hair loss. Good luck.

911 corp. executed a research to find the best female hair loss product. Find the results on Female hair loss treatment site .female hair loss issues on www.911stophairloss.com/Female%20hair%20loss.htm

Freedom During The School Holidays

January 5th, 2010

So what do you do during half-term? Are you one of those parents who has everything organised so well that Little Bob or Little Sheila is off to grandma’s before they could say “but Grandma’s blind and in a wheelchair”. Where you would promptly respond by handing them a bag of videos and told to “hush child before I beat you”. Or are you one of the many who spend the best part of the week rushing from NW to SE in a desperate bid, begging friends and family members to “could you do the Tuesday love, I’ll pay you in kind”

So there I was one year, thinking, I just don’t feel like doing the half-term thing this time. True to my decision, after the first day with the kids I made the stern decision to escape, leaving them with their father. I knew that if I did not disappear very soon, it would’ve been detrimental to my children’s health. So wishing their father good luck, adios, condolences and leaving no survival tips with him, I leapt off into the sunset to travel the 1 hour’s journey to North London. And as I went, I giggled insanely at thoughts of him trying to cope; visions of him trying to find his stress reliever, his bottle of Jack Daniels, or bottle of Prozac which I made sure I gave to next door’s cat before I left.

Over the years, whist doing the school holidays thing I have had to find means and ways of keeping myself intact and sane. Those violent tendencies, which try to surface once in a while, well more than a while now since the eldest one’s rampaging hormones have kicked in at the tender age of 13 (the teenaged years just isn’t funny when one is a parent) and the 8 year old thinks he’s a teenager – those violent tendencies have had to be suppressed with my dear friend “Prozac.” I have also upped the amount of time and the level of training I do at the gym. This therapy is what has proved to be a saviour. At times like these, I release so much aggression that were I not dedicated to working out several times a week, I would certainly react rather badly to my children, with a rope and a bag of bricks. (Well, in thought only, but sometimes peeps, they could take me there believe.)

So it was a novelty to spend “hush time” at my sisters’ home, not having to do all those routine things a mother normally has to do. So, there I was at my sisters’ house, living the life of a single person. If we felt like eating we ate. If we felt too idle and the effort to even put on a couple slices of toasts too taxing, we sat, watched tv, then so the pain didn’t kill us before the hunger did, we’d opt to go to bed early. This was also a rather pleasant time as I was privileged to venture out to the cinema, go out for meals and walks – with no-one in tow fighting or trying to beat the brains out of each other. I was also able to keep my hard earned cash where it belonged without someone trying to fleece me of it for things ranging from chocolate to playing cards. Neither did I do any laundry, washing, or ironing for a whole week – pure indulgence.

Therefore, my stress-levels behaved rather well, thank you very much. That was until the children decided that it was imperative and a matter of life or death to call me every hour on the hour. Their little voices constantly bleating “we miss you, come back, we promise to beeeeeehave”. And yes, I did feel sorry for them and I too missed them terribly. Therefore, as a result of these traumatic feelings, and the burden that now lay heavily upon my heart I decided to stay away for another week – and to enjoy a bit more of life’s pleasurable moments of freedom.

Therefore, in light of the above, I sent their father a book by the Dalai Lama, which captured the elements of peaceful living. As a token of goodwill I also sent a barrel full of Trazodone and Paxil (all anti-depressants) and a bottle of vodka – with a note stating “take yer pick” and “wish you were ere.”

Vintage Costume Jewellery Sparkles Again

January 5th, 2010

Men and women have worn costume jewellery since the Romans developed the ability to cut glass imitations of precious gemstones. Jewellery was worn to enhance appearance, display wealth and affirm love, friendship and loyalty. The reasons for wearing jewellery remain the same today, but the popularity of styles changes. Vintage costume jewellery is experiencing a revival these days as sparkling vintage rhinestone brooches are roaring back in style. Here are a few things you’ll need to know to help you pick out the right pieces.

What is it.

Costume jewellery is defined as jewellery that is made from non-precious materials such as cut glass.

Parures.

It is a set that includes a necklace, brooch and pair of earrings.

Demi-parures.

It includes a brooch and a pair of earrings.

Missing Stones.

Steer clear of an item with any missing stones. They are very difficult to replace.

Faux Pearls.

Watch closely any pieces with faux pearls because they chip easily and these chips cannot be fixed. Also, soap, cream and perfume can erode faux pearls.

Enamel.

Pieces with enamel can cause problems. Small areas of enamel damage can be retouched but large areas are very difficult to repair.

Condition Matters.

Good condition is important with vintage costume jewellery. Pin clasps that don’t work, hinges that are suspect may not be replaceable because they may no longer be made. Before you purchase, double check that all the pieces are in original condition and in good working order.

Names to Look For.

The biggest name in Canada for vintage costume jewellery is Sherman and it was usually signed. Other makers to be on the look out for are Trifari, Coro, Schreiner, Hobe and Schiaparelli.

Care.

Once you’ve found something you like, you’ll want to take good care of it. Store your vintage costume jewellery separately in small plastic bags to guard against scratching.

Where To Find Great Vintage Costume Jewellery.

Antique shops, flea markets, garage sales and Ebay are all good sources for vintage costume jewellery.

Value.

Prices range from under $20 for unsigned pieces to much more for signed sought-after pieces, parures and demi-parures.

Facts about MC Big Proof

December 31st, 2009

Facts about MC Big Proof
“If I was you, suicide would be a way of life. If you was me , you’d kill you.” (Proof)

Before I start talking about D12’s gifted Mc Proof, I would like to thank and to give credit to the webmaster of the following Derty Harry website for the rare info I found about Deshaun Holton aka Derty Harry aka Proof:

http://angelfire.com/bxc3/dertyharry/main_bio.html

Deshaun Holton aka Proof was born on October the 2nd 1975 in Detroit.
Although they didn’t attend the same High School, Eminem and Proof have been friends since 1988. They used to live in the same street in Detroit.
Proof used to go to Osbourne High school while Eminem was attending Lincoln High. Both friends used to skip high school in order to rap together: in fact Eminem skipped Lincoln High and used to come to Proof’s school very often, because both friends wanted to rap together. This is how they met:

“I was skipping school, and he was skipping school also, passing out flyers for his concert he was having in Centerline. That had to be, like, ‘88 or something.” (Proof)

Some (white) underground Mcs from Detroit like Backstab the Kingpin are convinced of Proof’s racism. But Deshaun’s statements seem to prove the contrary.

CDNow has asked Proof how he felt about Eminem’s skin color at the time they met:

CDNow: Did you wonder what this blond, white kid was up to?

Proof: “You know, I went to Catholic school and had a great, great friend of mine who happened to be Irish; we were best friends since the sixth grade. So when I saw [Eminem] was white, I didn’t even jump off like that; when he rapped, he was dope. What made us get dope and become great friends was we both rhymed “first place” and “birthday,” and we’ve been tight ever since [laughs].”

Eminem and Proof have been real friends since the beginning. When Eminem was kicked out of his home, he would sleep at Proof’s house.
It is well known that Proof is an amazing freestyler. He won the freestyling competition in the Source magazine in 1999. He his a better freestyler than Marshall, but Marshall’s force is in the way he handles his words in his lyrics. That’s exactly what Proof states about their complementary talent:

“We were both impressed with each other. The advantage I’ve got over Em is freestyling; I’m the kind of guy who freestyles off the head, right? The advantage he had over me was that he knew how to write intricately; he knew how to put a song together and bring feelings about. That’s why I journeyed under him, like, “Yo, show me the ropes, homeboy.”

The idea of the D12 group composed of talented MCs and sick aliases with popped into Proof’s mind:

“I was in New York; I had this deal with Tommy Boy that didn’t work out, unfortunately. But I just had this idea that we could put together a team of dope MCs, put a lot of Detroit on as far as having MCs with skills. Everybody’s solo took so we’ll make aliases, like Eminem’s Slim Shady and I’m Derty Harry, and call it the Dirty Dozen — and at this time, to be honest with you, we thought The Dirty Dozen was a Western movie; we didn’t know it was an army movie [laughs].
That fits us, army rather than Western, ’cause we see ourselves more as gun-slingers, lyric-slingers. Then the idea was to form a pact whereas this team, whoever gets out first comes back and gets the rest of the group.”

Proof has always been confident in Eminem’s loyalty, even if some other members of the group may have been worried:

“Not me; I’ve been there since day one, almost. I think the rest of the group may not have been there, but Proof has been beside Eminem all this time. I play a leadership role in the group, where I talk to everyone else; Em is like the president, and I’m the general. I talk to the rest of the fellas and put ‘em in line and show ‘em the direction. It’s a family, too, so there’ll be a lot of fighting and bickering, and some people might have felt it might not be the way it should be. So, yes, there were times when people felt funny about things. But now everybody thinks back to that, and we were tripping out over nothing.”

Acccording to Proof, Eminem’s success was the best thing that could have happened to D12:

“Right. Some people look at us like, “You’re gonna be Eminem’s group. You’re gonna be in his shadow.” They don’t realize how positive and great that is to hear; if you’re in the shadow of a guy who can sell almost 10 million records in just the states alone, great. That’s not a dis to us. But when they hear the album, they hear the individuality of each person, how everybody holds their own.”

It is so true that each D12 emcee has his own talent and ability to rap.

It is less known that Proof’s first stage name was “Maximum”. Proof has always been appreciated in Detroit for his raps and his freestyling qualities. He changed his nickname when people started calling him “Living Proof”, because in many people’s minds, Proof was the “living proof of the living MCs in Detroit”.

Proof has collaborated and still collaborates with numerous artists such as Dogmatic.
Proof’s first released Cd was called “From Death” and was co-produced with Da Goon Squad.

He has released a CD called “Promatic” with Dogmatic and a six Track solo EP called “The Search For Jerry Garcia”.
As well as for Eminem, Detroit has been very influencial to Proof who describes his hometown as “the type of place where eye contact can get you killed” and also as ” a city where the sun never shines, full of pot holes, snow and con artists ready to jack everything you got”.

Can the Capital’s Theatres Keep Away The Great British Economic Crisis

December 11th, 2009

With the British economic downturn truly upon the businesses of London, could the city’s likeable musical shows keep the show sales coming in? Over in New York’s theatre district, the plays can be found being hit with lower musical ticket sales as tons of people are deciding to stay in rather than head out into town. Abounding people, usually couples and families are staying in watching the latest blockbuster movies than heading out to watch a theatre production. The New York musical shows have responded quickly by putting down show prices to encourage theatre goers back, so far with fantastic results. Infact, Shrek the Musical is marketing a family ticket bundle of two parents paying whole price with up to three kids under 16 attending the musical for free. With the status of the Shrek animated films, the reputation has of course relayed to the Broadway adaptation.

Over in London’s West End, the show revenue have also noticed a decrease. This has caused a myriad of theatre shows to watch their profit line even more than usual. And with a variety of plays having high priced stars, like Christian Slater and Sienna Miller, the theatre companies need to make up for this outgoing. Thankfully for London and of course the musicals there are reduced price musical ticket booths that allow musical lovers to get tickets for top musical shows at a fraction of the musical ticket face value. These famous musical ticket retailers have noticed an increase in revenue since the downturn and this allows the theatre show goers of London and its superb tourists to be able to actually afford to see their preferred theatre productions without spending too much money. Find Phantom of the Opera tickets at discount prices.

As the Great British economic crisis continues, we could find that various theatre productions may begin to offer similar show promotions to that of New York with family show bundles. Though, there are a few musicals that will stand the test of gloom and doom – plays like Woman in Black and Priscilla Queen of the Desert have been around for various years and show no indicators of lower tickets sales.
