Old Churches


We nourish our soul by praying. Whatever religion or belief you might have, we all have one thing in common, praying. Even the ancient people who worship the gods have their own way of praying. There are groups who wrote their prayers in stones, turned into books or other wrote it in the walls of the churches. It’s more amazing to learn how the stone walls are preserved through time. There are churches that stood still trough time. Discoveries show some churches built in the 17th Century that is still kept with a strong structure. They were built with solid stones, constructed in a very conservative manner, meant to last for centuries. They’ve been a great picture of how human value the place for worship. The place to practice their conversation with the god they believe. How great the architects of these churches that it doesn’t come in a simple form but was built with magnificent interiors. Some carries paintings from famous artists. Others have sculptures only great artists could create.

Different forms of worship are done inside these churches. Other groups dance and sing their way to worship. Others shares words and discuss about the scriptures they believe in. They usually create a stage in the church where the preacher or the performances can be witnessed by everyone. Other churches usually have big wooden doors that enclose the church. Old churches usually are the silent witness of history, from the wars to festivities that happens to the town or the whole city.
