How to Jump Higher
If you want to learn how to jump higher, then this basketball workouts training is for you. Increase Your Vertical Jump Via Explosive Plyometrics A greater leaping ability can be achieved in 3 ways. Each one differs from the next, but they can all get you where you want to be. They are called deep lunge jumps, push-up jumps, and drop jumps. Together, they’re termed plyometric exercises, or plyometrics. Plyometrics build power in the leg muscles while simultaneously increasing speed, basically making it possible for your legs to generate greater power in a fraction of the time. This combination of power and speed allow you to jump REALLY high. The greater the power you have to push the ground hard, the stronger your launch will be. Plyometrics focus in on two types of muscle development which are explosive strength and foundation strength.

K’mando Strapless Pouch
Basic briefs for men, not like K’mando Strapless Pouch underwear, are marked by a visible flexible waist band that rests about the waist, a “Y” fold-over fly, four inches of material covering the area from waist towards the upper thighs, as well as total coverage on the butt. Most standard briefs for men are constructed from light colored 100 % cotton and typically are low-priced. Mid-rise and low-rise cut mens briefs can be found in a number of colors and materials just like sateen. Almost all briefs provide effective support for that reproductive organs. They’re a great choice for jobs who need to remain sitting down the whole day. Full-rise briefs commonly are not as likely to move up as other sorts of undergarments. Mid-rise men’s briefs are the same in every single way. However they rest two inches beneath your waist. Low-rise mens briefs are optimal at approximately 3 inches below the waist. Both of these styles are excellent together with low-rise denim jeans.

Receiver Hitch
Your Receiver Hitch May Be Tough But You Should Still Pay Attention! It is pretty easy for people to trust in machines. We have learned to coexist with our laptops, smart phones, pick-up trucks, and hardware quite nicely. Even so, with regards to your receiver hitch, one small mistake can really ruin your day. The hitch will be what keeps your heavy cargo from harming other drivers on the road. Certainly, this is incredibly important. It cannot be overstated that your anchoring point be as sturdy as possible. It needs to be tested thoroughly and repeatedly before pulling your cargo. Be sure that you’re using the correct size of hitch for your specific trailer size and type.

Clinton J Veasey talks about where to find the correct coarse fishing tackle

Fishing has become a popular sport and hobby. A lot of people go on fishing trips regularly throughout the year. One of the most important things that you’ll need to buy is carp tackle and you should find a range of options online and in stores.

If you’re interested in buying carp tackle then there will be a few things that you’ll need to think about before you go shopping. Firstly, you’ll need to consider a budget for your purchases and it’s actually easier than you may have first thought, to work out how much you’ll need to spend.

Head over to your favourite search engine and search for products that you are interested in. Have a pen and paper with you and make a note of the prices as you look around. Once you have a list of prices you should easily be able to work out a reasonable and realistic budget.

Make sure that you have a pen and paper with you and make a note of the deals you see as you browse the web. You should also consider quality while you’re browsing because you want to ensure that the products you buy aren’t low quality and that they’ll last a few years at least.

It can be quite tempting to opt for the lowest prices but keep quality in mind. You may also want to consider heading into your local fishing store to see what they have on offer. However, only do this once you’ve got a good idea of what’s available online.

Buying online will give you access to a much larger range of products and usually the prices are better as well. Just make sure that you prioritise buying online because it’s so much easier to get good deals when compared with shopping on the high street.

Overall, as long as you do your research, buying carp tackle should be easy. It’s simple to find offers online but you’ll have to ensure that you keep your wits about you and look out for deals that could be too good to be true. Keep a pen and paper with you when you’re browsing online so that you can make a note of the offer that you like the look of.

Picking the right accommodations for your race can have a positive impact on your ironman experience. Here are five important tips to consider when choosing that all important place to stay.

(1)Be sure to book early. The longer you wait to book the less options you leave yourself. Often rooms are booked a year ahead of time. Athletes who know there is a good chance they may return to the same race the next year, will re-reserve a room before they leave town. Even if you’re not entirely positive you’ll be ready to race the following year, book anyway. Even if a deposit is required its normally 100% refundable if you give them fair notice. Its not usually a problem at an Ironman venue, because they know there will always be someone else to take the room.

(2)Location, location, location. This is very important. You want to try and get just the right distance away from the race start/transition area. Often there will be a hotel listed as the race headquarters. Most likely that’s where registration will take place and at most IM races, this hotel will be right beside the race start area. You definitely should try avoid staying at that location for a few reasons. First of all, it will be very, very expensive. It will also be very, very busy. Its simply too close to the action and hype. By the same token, don’t book so late that you end up staying outside of town. Its just not convenient for registering, the expo, and carbo and awards dinners. Also, you don’t want a drive so far, that you have to worry about car problems causing you to be late getting to the race start. Don’t leave anything to chance. I would say the perfect distance would be about a 15-20 minute walk. That would make it about an 8 minute bike ride or around 5 minutes by car if you’re driving. That way you’re close to everything, but still have a bit of buffer zone from all the hype.

(3)Remember that by going to the host IM website for accommodation information, you will most likely only be given a few options. Often they will give you a list of expensive hotels and if at all possible you should try and avoid staying in a hotel room. A better option is to key the the name of the race venue into google. For instance “Penticton accommodations” if you’re going to Ironman Canada. Or “Kona accommodations” if you’re going to Hawaii. This should bring up a better variety of available accommodations with contact information etc. The best method I ever came up with personally was to phone the chamber of commerce of the particular city(pretty well every town or city has one). You’ll get a real live person who actually lives in the area and you can tell them exactly what you’re looking for. They will also have all the phone numbers for you.

(4)Find a motel with full kitchen facilities. Avoid hotel rooms unless its your only option.
A fully equipped kitchenette will have a stove, fridge and all the dishes, pots and pans and utensils. Its absolutely the best way to go for an Ironman competition. Also, the are often less expensive than the fancy hotels. With a kitchenette unit, you can just go shopping at the nearest supermarket when you arrive and basically be able to stay with the diet you are used to. Personally, I think its a far better and safer option than eating restaurant food three times a day. You just never know for sure what you’re eating. Also, you have a refrigerator to keep your drinks cool and in between meal snacks fresh. It really is the very best option.

(5)Try and make sure you are not right on the Ironman course. This can make it difficult to return to your lodging after the race. For the most part the roads will be closed until the last few entrants have reached the finish. try and be at least 2 or 3 blocks either side of the main course. When you arrive at your choice of lodging, be sure to take practice drives(if you have a car there)down to the main transition area. Decide ahead of time where you plan to park on race morning. Once again, stay away from the main course as you may find that you can’t get out after the race. Leave for the check-in and numbering on race morning as early as possible. The prime parking spots will be gone very early. If you’re in short walking distance,(15-20 minutes)you have nothing to worry about. Try and avoid walking to much further than that, as you will have your bike and all your gear to haul after the race. It would be ideal if you had someone to help you out after the race.

Ultimately, planning ahead will make your Ironman experience all that much better. Make the choices that will make your stay stress free and enable you to concentrate on the race itself.

Outright Odds: 12/1

Group G Winners: 1/2

France were required to call on the cavalry to ensure qualification to the finals. Stuck in fourth place in their group, retired veterans Zinedine Zidane, Claude Makelele and Lilian Thuram returned to the side in an attempt to turn around the fortunes of the failing side.

A precious 1-0 win in the Republic of Ireland, a 1-1 draw in Switzerland and a 4-0 hammering of Cyprus secured France top spot in a group in which they remained unbeaten. Two draws against Israel and Switzerland and one against Ireland added to their five wins and saw them avoid a potential banana skin in the play-offs.

This is the first time France have qualified for the World Cup in 20 years, as they entered the 1998 tournament as hosts and 2002 as Champions. They failed to reach the finals in 1990 and 1994 and will be desperate to avoid the humiliation they suffered four years ago in which they finished bottom of their group without a goal to their name.

France are an ageing side with Thuram and Zidane at 34 in the finals while Makelele, and goalkeeper Gregory Coupet will be 33 and midfielder Sylvain Wiltord 32. The main problem manager Raymond Domenech has endured is the younger generation of players just don’t look up to the task which has forced him to bring back the tried and trusted stars of yesteryear.

Domenech has also overlooked the creative likes of Robert Pires and Johann Micoud with the a potential midfield, bar Zidane, of Makelele, Wiltord and Patrick Vieria looking very static. Surely Zidane cannot be expected to do it all on his own at this late stage of his career?

Despite the chronic lack of midfield creativity, this year’s finals must see the best of strike pairing Thierry Henry and David Trezeguet who have failed to shine in previous tournaments. In 17 World Cup appearances between them, they have collectively scored just four goals while Djibril Cisse has failed to score in three.

While on paper France still have world class credentials they cannot be backed confidently to succeed in this tournament. At odds-on they provide almost no value to win or even qualify from Group G.

They play perhaps their toughest opponents Switzerland in the opening match and providing they come out of it unscathed they could use it as a springboard to qualify for the last 16.

Recommended Bet
There is no value in backing France to win the group or even qualify from it at heavy odds-on given their struggle for qualification and inept performance four years ago. They face Switzerland in their opening match, a side they drew twice with during the qualification process and another stalemate is the recommended bet here.

France vs Switzerland draw @ 9/4

One of the most collectible areas regarding Muhammad Ali is Site Memorabilia. Typically, Boxing Programs, tickets and posters from Muhammad Ali’s actual fights.
Ali site memorabilia ranges from his early amateur days through to his last professional fight against Trevor Berbick in 1981. Some collectors even collect site memorabilia from his many worldwide exhibition contests which can be just as rare.

The reference guide for any Muhammad Ali Site Memorabilia collector should be the 1997 Christies LA Paloger Auction guide. This book contains many photographs of Boxing Programs, tickets and Posters from the majority of Ali’s contests.

The desirability and price of Muhammad Ali site memorabilia is governed mainly, and not in necessarily in this order, by:

Significance of the fight:

The biggest Ali fights will always attract even the casual Ali site memorabilia collector and even though they might not be the rarest items, their desirability means they
Are a premium item

Clay Liston 1 -	Ali wins Heavyweight Title for the first time

Ali Frazier 1	-	Fight Of The Century

Ali Foreman -	Rumble In The Jungle

Ali Farazier 3	-	Thrilla in Manilla

Rarity

For certain Ali fights, more programs and posters were produced than sold at the fight. Site memorabilia for certain fights may have been found hidden away in a warehouse and recently discovered.

Condition

If a program, poster or ticket has fold marks, creased corners or water stains, etc,

Then it will obviously not be as collectible as an item in Mint Condition.

Boxing Programs

Muhammad Ali site programs are probably the most widely collected of all Ali site memorabilia. Many collectors are after the holy grail of collecting every Muhammad Ali fight program. Some of Ali’s early programs were just 1 page bout sheets.

Closed Circuit Programs were produced during Ali’s career and these should not be confused with the Actual Site Programs.

Prices for Muhammad Ali Site programs can range from $15 up to and over $5,000 for the rarer programs.

Boxing Tickets

Again a much sought after site collectible, there are different variants of a Muhammad Ali site boxing ticket.

Full tickets, with the stub still attached, are the rarest and most collectible. These are tickets that were purchased for the actual fight and the original owner either could not attend, or he had the foresight to get the ticket attendant to not rip the ticket or the ticket had holes punched in it.

‘Printer Proof’ tickets do not have a seat number and were usually produced by the printer as part of the initial print run as spares before being numbered. Still collectible they are not worth as much as the original Full Tickets. They sometimes have holes punched in them so they could not be used.

Stubless tickets are also very collectible, due to the rarity of Full Tickets.

Ticket Stubs can be very collectible especially in the absence of the other variants. This is especially the case with the early fights in Ali’s career.

Phantom tickets were made for fights that did not take place such as Ali-Liston 2 which was postponed. Always check the date and venue against Muhammad Ali’s ring record.

Closed Circuit tickets are from theatre venues that showed the fights and are least collectible.

Again the prices of Muhammad Ali site tickets can range from around $50 up to and over $5,000

Boxing Posters

Site Boxing Posters were used in and around the actual venue to advertise the forthcoming fight, date, ticket prices, and usually consisted of pictures of Ali and his opponent. They vary in size and vibrancy but are not usually smaller than say 18×22.
Few survived the actual event and thus are indeed very collectible and scarce.

Closed Circuit Posters and movie posters were produced in numerous quantities for worldwide theatre venues but are still collectible.

Prices can range from $500 up to and over $10,000 for rare Muhammad Ali site Boxing Posters.

Conclusion

I have, through the years, collected all types of Muhammad Ali’s site Memorabilia. However, in recent years I have concentrated on Ali site boxing posters. The main reason was that I would store my programs and tickets in binders hidden away in the loft. My posters would be framed (for protection) and hung on the walls. These posters would provide much discussion and pride with any visitors. The expense of purchasing my remaining ‘wants’ made it necessary to make a decision to concentrate on a single type of Ali site memorabilia. However I just purchased two full Ali Frazier 1 tickets! We collectors never learn!

Other Site Memorabilia (sleepers)

There are many other items of site memorabilia which in my view make a great investment which are obtainable at reasonable prices. Such varied items that can be seen are commemorative Everlast Gloves from Ali Frazier fights, Pennants from fights, pins, and even seat cushions from the Ali Holmes fight!

Caution

With the advance in today’s printing techniques I have come across reprinted tickets, programs and posters from various Ali fights. The same rules apply to site memorabilia as collecting autographs.

What else can I say about the golf swing, that has not been said before?, the golf swing is what makes golfer who they are, looking for the perfect swings, the natural golf swing and constantly building your swing is what defines golfers.

There are many approaches and methods for the golf swing and many different golf swing training aid, but the one thing they all have in common is that they all need practice, and if you ever played golf in your life, you know that this practice may take a little longer than the 3 hours you spend on the golf course every Saturday morning.

Golf is a game that requires perfection in many different levels, even for those who want to reach a lower handicap, something around the 11-14 golf handicap means that you need to spend a lot of time practicing your swing, not to mention your bunker play, your mental game and the many different situations a golf ball on a golf course can create.

Most golfers, or to be even more precise – most amateur golfers (not professionals) do not have enough time to work on their swing, I never met a golfer (and I met a few) that told me they had enough time to work on their swing, and that creates a huge problem, trying to get to the course (did you ever try to swing a golf club indoors? Don’t.) and manage some social life will not allow the average person enough time to work on his swing, and this is the exact reason why so many golf experts have devised many golf training aids to help golfers out.

Golf training aids are meant to be used mostly in the home, in the office or at the park while spending time with the kids, most of them are not meant to be used on the golf course because once you are on the course you should focus on playing golf and not practicing it. Golf training aids can help you with your golf swing, it is not a guaranteed fact that you will get better, but having some kind of golf training aid will increase your chances to work on your swing – just because it will be more available to you.

Constantly working on your swing, at home or at the office, for a few minutes a day can do wonders to your game. If you are taking golf lessons or you plan to go to a golf school to get better, than you absolutely should consider getting some golf training aid – it will make it easier for you to repeat what your golf instructor told you, it will give you the chance to keep working on that new thing you just understood on the range – every day, and wherever you want, it’s a great advantage.

The golf swing training aid is the thing that you should invest in before putting money into lessons and golf schools, just because it will allow you to do what they teach you every day, or at least twice as much as you can today (when visiting your golf club or a golf course near your home). There is no doubt that the most significant thing in golf is the swing, and someone told me that golfers think about golf every 3 minutes on average (I know I do) I am pretty sure that most than half of these thoughts are golf swing thoughts… put more time into it, and get better, by using a golf swing training aid.

About five years ago I decided to take up the game of golf. I needed something to do to relieve a little of the stress caused by a hectic work schedule and other things going on in my life at the time. It was actually my wife’s idea. She bought me one club for Christmas and a golf legend was born. Maybe an urban golf legend. I told everyone about my five-iron I had just received as a present. Imagine my surprise when one of my friends told me that it was a five-wood instead. “How can that be?” I asked. It says 5 on the bottom and it definitely is not wood. What I was about to find out was that this game would definitely not reduce my stress. So as you can imagine, I was not great at the game. But what I have learned after many frustrating swings is that if you take it too serious, the game of golf will drive you over the edge. So after many games, I have decided on a few ways to avoid the stress of the game.

1. Keep your own score. I am not advocating cheating but the pressure of having to look at a score in the 80s when you are shooting in the 130s is just too much. Besides, when you “lose” track of how many strokes you have, that obnoxious partner that always remembers your every swing won’t have any input.

2. The foot iron is your best club. Trust me on this one. I once took some customers out and I was so nervous I couldn’t sleep the night before. That day I hit one of my best shots ever. I had landed by a tree root and somehow punched it right into the fairway. Unfortunately on my near perfect follow through I hit the tree branch overhead and stirred up a nest of bees. If I would have just used my foot iron I wouldn’t have been running down the fairway screaming like a fool and swatting at my ears.

3. You call it a mulligan I call it a practice swing. I don’t believe much in practice swings. When you play like I do, you don’t want to take a chance on wasting a perfectly good swing. Just about everyone I play with takes several practice swings before approaching the ball. I just step right up and hope for the best. Sometimes I even make contact with the ball the first or second time. So when it is all said and done, I get plenty of practice swings just by swinging over the ball. If by some chance I duff one, I usually take another and another.

4. Clear water hazards and wash your golf balls at the same time. If there is water, even in my peripheral vision, I am sure to find it. One of the most valuable tools in my bag is that telescoping ball retriever. I always have the cleanest golf balls on the course. So instead of focusing on those three bad shots I allow myself to clear the hazard, I focus on my nice clean balls. (Oh and that counts as one stroke since I am keeping my own score and can’t remember how many balls I actually knocked in the drink).

5. Find someone who is worse than you. This can be tough when you are really bad and almost more challenging than the game itself. I used to golf every week and about every three months I would take my wife along to show her how much I had improved. She would take her two clubs (a five-wood and a putter) and beat me by as many strokes as she chose on that particular day. So choose your “sucky” golfing partner wisely.

Golf is a great game and it is both rewarding and frustrating. But don’t take it too seriously. Practice, Practice, Practice, but you will still have some bad games. Don’t lose sight of the fact that it is just a game.
